Facebook reminded us we took this first pic of Alfie a year ago. My how he has grown on our hearts too. We can’t imagine life without him. 🐾🫶

From a tiny puppy under the chair to the face of our You are Golden collection, Alfie Alfredo has been with us for every pour, every pack, every market. He is the reason You are Golden exists.

It’s Wednesday, which means we’re officially allowed to start making weekend plans. 🫶

We still have a few spots left this Saturday for a candle-making class right here in our home studio in Troutman.

Come by yourself. Bring your best friend. Bring your person.

We’ll have snacks, drinks, plenty of fragrances to choose from, and Anthony and me probably telling stories we had absolutely no intention of telling. 😂

But more than anything, it’s real conversation with real, genuine people. No pressure. No awkward “class” feeling. Just a couple of hours to make something with your hands, laugh a little, meet someone new, and maybe leave feeling a little lighter than when you walked in.

That’s what these classes have become for us… and we love them for it.

A little look at what we’ve been working on lately. 🤍

New ideas. Custom orders. Engraving. Pouring. Packing. Testing. Classes. Pop ups. And somehow… even more ideas. 😂

Some weeks in a small business are really pretty. Some are a whole lot of figuring it out as you go. Most are both.

We’ve been working on new refill options, creating custom pieces for some really special businesses, prepping for upcoming candle classes, packing orders, testing new ideas and continuing to make Love Square One better one tiny detail at a time.

Seven years in and I still get excited when something that was once just an idea in my head becomes something we can actually put into your hands.

And the best part is that Anthony and I still get to make so much of it right here together. 🤍

Thanks for being here while we keep building, learning, changing and starting over whenever we need to.

There’s a little magic in beginning again.

This one is personal. 💛

Nine years ago, I was in one of the darkest places of my life.

I went to work. I smiled. I showed up.

And you would never know.

September is Su***de Prevention Awareness Month. And I've been sitting with this post for a while, wondering if I was brave enough to share it.

I decided I was.
