It’s been a busy summer! Custom orders completed, 4H build done and many other boards ready to sell. Below are the items I currently have for sale. Descriptions and costs are in the comments.

Each of these is currently a bit “dull”. Only one application of oil is complete in case you’d like to add a custom engraving. I will be doing another application of oil and a board butter buff that will make these shine and soft to the touch.

Laser engraving can be added for $10

I can accept cash, check or Venmo. Pickup in Troy or delivery in the surrounding areas is possible.

I mixed it up a bit today and used my new template on a couple cut-off pieces. Hit with the first water pop and should finish tomorrow. These could be snack serving boards, shelf sitters, or other decorations for Christmas.

Should I stick with these basics?
Add a Christmas laser-engraving?
Try some larger pieces?

What are your thoughts?

We’re nearing the completion of another summer of 4H and I’ve finished my piece for this year’s judging.

This bedside table is made of a beautiful cherry finished to highlight its natural beauty with a simple poly coat.

This project challenged me in so many ways because the act of building furniture reeeaaalllyyy requires precise measurements and attention to detail. Also, once built it was WAY too wide for my liking so we had to get creative on how we trimmed it down and reassembled.

I’m very proud of this piece. I found ability I didn’t know I had and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

Sometimes order requests line up perfectly with my busy schedule! Making a delivery in Botkins on my was to Findlay for baseball.

Making a big delivery today to our neighbor. I’m thankful she’s used her business to support mine.

These boards highlight a little bit of everything: juice grooves, engraving, handles and the blend of purple heart and cherry that has become a favorite.

These are all spoken for but my mom will be posting some available while I’m at basketball camp this week.

I’m excited to share that I my younger brother has been learning about laser engraving and I can now offer this as an addition to my boards!

It is important for me to note that some experts warn against cutting on engraved surfaces due to risk of bacteria being trapped in the ridges. Others state that so long as it is thoroughly cleaned and dried it is safe. It’s important to understand your own risk level is this is an option you’d be interested in choosing.
