In 2014, I (Rachel) handcrafted my first bottlecap magnets for a one-day fundraiser. I never imagined I would still be selling them four years later.
My passion for creating handmade wares morphed into a small business. At 15 years old, I launched my Etsy shop, which sells my eco-friendly, whimsical magnets. All images within the bottlecaps come from repurposed magazines and catalogues, which inspired the name "Upcycled." In my spare time, you can find me with a stack of magazines, scissors, and bottlecaps. My favorite part of the crafting process: scavenging stacks of magazines for each unique image. That means each magnet is one-of-a-kind. You will never find two that are exactly alike; each image is distinctly its own. Shop Upcycled Magnets is dedicated to resurrecting the dying art of handmade gift giving. I hope my upcycled creations find the perfect spot in your home - whether on a kitchen fridge or office magnetic board!
