Learn how to turn your tassels into a more decorative piece for your projects. Nealay demonstrated how this week, using Danielle's Saffron & Silk Seedbead Project box from beadshop.com. Danielle beaded along. The special part of this project was experimenting with the additional fringe with the remaining seed beads. This project is so versatile that it can be either a purse tassel, earrings, embellished tassels for silversilk or really can attach to any component or design you dream of. In this tutorial I'm teaching how to make a beaded tassel cover for the Lucky Elephant Tassel, layering bugle beads and seed beads in different shapes to embellish a purple silk tassel with a gold elephant charm, a rose quartz nugget, and a bright pink flower bead. It is a great technique to have in your back pocket anytime you want to dress up a plain tassel.
