Welp. That’s 2025. It’s been a struggle. I stepped away from blogging this year because every time it seemed safe to push post, there’d be another disaster🔥 (both figuratively and literally) and it just never felt right. However despite the constant 💩 show, behind the scenes here, there were a lot of special moments worth remembering. The highlight was being able to go back to Japan for the first time in over 15 years. And then throughout the rest of the year, saw a bunch of art, places, and amazing things. Experienced a brief health scare with my Dad, but thankfully in the end, we are still standing. Workwise, I’m so grateful to all our clients that kept us super busy. I feel like 2026 is going to be another turbulent year, but I’m going in with a different attitude. Existence is resistance, and creativity fights anxiety. 💪✊👊 just want to thank you for continuing to follow my mundane shenanigans and wishing you all a happy new year 🫶💖

Although I haven’t blogged it (I haven’t blogged anything this year, but that’s another story) I did manage a new pumpkin adventure! 🎃 This year has been scary, infuriating, and at times, felt like we’ve entered a new hellscape, so I figure why not use that as inspiration for my pumpkins 👹 Minimal monster chic in monochromatic red. Also found an old picture of me as a kid in a costume my mom lovingly made at my request. I guess some things don’t change. 😈 Hope y’all have a safe Halloween and great weekend 😎✌️
