When making a book shelf you should cut all boards to the width first to make sure there isn't any boards slightly wider...

When making a book shelf you should cut all boards to the width first to make sure there isn't any boards slightly wider then the rest. Also having all boards precut makes quick work of putting together.

I am at the school and have a big project to make with just a few weeks before school starts. Fingers crossed.

Well this old coat cabinet has been lightly refreshed and given shelves to live on with its new purpose. I used maple plywood and put a light stain on it and put a dark stain with accenting k***s on thee doors that match the old hinges. Not bad for a quick job. The wife loves it so thats all that matters.
