Wednesday, 10/21/26 — Devotional: Made New

Scripture:
“He makes all things new.” — Revelation 21:5

Heart of the matter:
Change can take time but hope and new beginnings are possible. Like the shoreline reshaped by each tide, we can find room to begin again, one small step at a time.

Application:
Choose one small thing to begin again today—a kind word, a moment of rest, or a fresh start with God.

Quick prayer:
Lord, renew my heart and help me notice the new beginnings You’re bringing into my life. Amen.

There’s something about the coast that invites us to slow down—the salt air, soft light, and steady rhythm of the waves. That feeling inspires the artisanal pieces we make at Salty Mist Design Company. Explore our collections online.

Monday, 10/19/2026 -- Devotional: Steady as the Shore

Scripture:
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you.” — Isaiah 43:2

Heart of the matter:
Life’s waves change, but God’s presence remains steady through every season.

Application:
Take a quiet moment to name what feels overwhelming and ask God to meet you there.

Quick prayer:
God, be my anchor when life feels unsettled. Help me trust that You are with me through every wave. Amen.

Friday 10/16, Devotional: Gathered Together

Scripture:
"Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another." Hebrews 10:24-25

The Heart of the Matter:
We'll be at the Big Sandy Fall Heritage Festival on October 31st, and honestly, the best part isn't the booth. It's the gathering. Community doesn't happen by accident, it happens because people show up for each other, same as it did for the early church.

Daily Application:
Make one small plan this weekend to show up for someone in person instead of a text.

Quick Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the people You've put around me. Help me show up for them the way You show up for me. Amen.

Wednesday 10/14, Devotional: What's Underneath

Scripture:
"The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." 1 Samuel 16:7

The Heart of the Matter:
Everything we make starts with essential oils instead of something synthetic, because what's underneath matters more than what's on the surface. It's a small choice, but it's the same choice we're asked to make with ourselves: let what's real do the work, not what's easiest to fake.

Daily Application:
Pick one thing today where you've been managing appearances instead of tending what's real and tend it instead.

Quick Prayer:
Lord, I don't want to just look right. Shape what's underneath. Amen.
