Like a true 90’s girl, I was inspired by all things Laura Ashley (iykyk) when designing my daughter’s nursery. I wanted her space to feel like a special little jewel box that she can grow into over time. It is without a doubt my most favorite room in the house.

Hi! I don’t show my face here often but figured I should pop in every now and again 👋🏻 My name is Alex Richter Place and I am the owner and principal designer behind Mint Interiors. I started my business in 2021 after working in the commercial design space for 7 years. I have my bachelors degree in interior design from Radford University [go highlanders!] and specialize in luxury residential interiors. I am based in Leesburg, VA but work on projects all along the east coast. If you have been thinking about working with an experienced interior designer on your next project I’d love to chat!
