It’s almost pumpkin season 🎃🍃

Scrolling through my feed and seeing all the fall things, especially crocheted and knitted pumpkins, has me missing the days of staying up late and prepping for markets.
It’s been pretty quiet at BRC for awhile now- I got a new job (that I adore) a couple years ago and had to put crocheting on the back burner. I don’t think I’ll ever have the time to prep for markets or do what I used to- but that’s okay! I have been enjoying sitting on the couch at night, without any pressure, and slowly creating rather than staying up til the early hours of the morning, mass making toys.
I’m not quite sure what Brittany Rae Crochet will look like going forward, but I’d really love to find my way back to the space where my soul thrived and felt happiest: playing with yarn and creating pieces for people who appreciate handmade gifts!
For now, here’s an old photo of some of the very first pumpkins I made on the knitting machine!
