Our Story
Twindad Designs is a small family run business that specializes in one-of-a-kind pieces inspired by the love of the ocean and mother nature’s handy work; in many cases, from cast off wood that is destined for the burn pile. The combination of the two come together with the addition of epoxy resin to form conversation pieces that are unique and beautiful. Live edge wood is filled with imperfections, just like life. Those imperfections are unique and are filled with character and each one tells a story. There is something special about giving wood a second life and highlighting and celebrating those imperfections. This creative passion is put into each project that is crafted. The name Twindad Designs was born from our greatest achievement, our twin daughters. Jillian and Halle are my inspiration and continue to amaze us every day as they too navigate through life’s challenges having chosen a life of service in the field of nursing. Our story would not be complete without mention of my trusty sidekick and production assistant; Lilly. This little French Bulldog occasionally appears in social media posts and is now overseeing quality control. Going forward each Piece will come with confirmation of approval from Lilly.
