Happy Thursday Friends! It’s been a rough week in the Van der Meer home as I’ve been battling being sick since last Friday. Just a quick snapshot of a spot on my hutch to remind myself that I’m still in the land of the living. 😫
Right now, we are especially loving to add dried Tallow berries & raw edge velvet ribbons to our decor. It looks beautiful with woods & whites. What are you using for fall that you especially love for this season.

Chocolatey brown & gold give this Antique French Chocolat Menier Metal Box a beautiful patina with a multidimensional finish that looks lovely with moody earth tones as well as glass, baskets and stoneware.
It measures:

Chocolat Menier was founded in Paris in 1816 by Jean-Antoine-Brutus Menier. It started as a pharmaceutical company, originally using cocoa to mask the bitter taste of medicinal pills.
These metal boxes were used to ship French chocolate from the Noisiel factory.
These boxes come in a range of sizes, materials & colors. They're a wonderful piece of French & Chocolate history & fun to stack or display alone.

STACKS is the theme for PERFECTLYIMPERFECTPRIMS this round.

We had an idea to stack some of our antique ironstone sugar pots, but I have to admit that it made me a bit nervous in the process as each one balanced precariously while I took photos. We paired them with a beautiful stack of antique French linens for our vignette & really love the neutrals today during a season of lots of bright colors.🤍🤍🤍
