It's just a great sadness that I have to tell you that my dear wife Kathryn Marie Peterson (Kat Van Rooyen Czt) van Rooyen passed away earlier this evening. She has been in the hospital and then rehabilitation and then transferred back to hospital and finally to the ICU where she passed. She had been intubated. Her kidneys were failing. And she had had a massive stroke affecting both sides of her brain at the back of her head. If she had recovered it is quite likely that her quality of life would have been incredibly poor. Although I know I will miss her terribly, I am at peace about this because she is at peace in heaven. She will be with those she loved and of course her savior. You can get more background information as to what has happened over the past 2 weeks by looking at posts that our dear friend Kathryn Hall has posted to try to keep her friends up to date. She she will be cremated at Hurst Scott funeral homes in Tazewell Virginia.

I have not been on here in Quite awhile, as I cannot deal with drama —not mine. I’ve also been too exhausted. I’ve been diagnosed With uterine cancer, and have had at least 10 falls in the last 2 months.These are caused by spinal stenosis .
Some were very serious. All required the ambulance to come. I had a fall yesterday and another one.the day before  I did have a fall yesterday and the day before. And both of the two recent ones has caused me a great deal of pain  and suffering.

Tonight, David saw my son ‘s announcement that he is changing his last name(van Rooyen) to Anderson. He’s been struggling with psychosis and I think this is some of what’s going on. He thinks that his dad wants to turn off their phone —(it’s 16th and no payment yet. He said he couldn’t pay this month )and that’s not the case at all ! David just wanted to talk about it, so Jay has overreacted and broken his mother’s heart and caused me great pain.

First zentangle tile that I have done in ages. Probably I haven’t done it since I had my major fall even though I’ve got the time and the space to do it I I drew this last night and I loved doing it doesn’t matter if it’s right or wrong because that’s the way Zentangle is. Are used watercolor as a base for the hummingbird. If you have been one of the very few people who has visited me in the warmer months, you will see my hummingbird feeder just outside the window where I sit in my recliner. My son knows how much I love hummingbirds as he got a beautiful hummingbird tattoo on his hand for me.
