As hot as it was, I still ate my soup beans, cornbread and my apple pie 🥧

I put my little artsy spin on our menu sign that will be used for years to come, and my dad made some walnut donation boxes for donations to the park!

If you know anything about wood and how BEAUTIFUL walnut is.. you know I felt like I was digging my own grave 😵

This is a part of my childhood, and I didn’t get a picture of the butterfly that was flying around during set up but I know my grandma Karen was there bossing everyone around in spirit 🪽
