Sundaze... time to wrap up the shop floor and start working on the walls!!

Finally was able to get my hands on load of rough sawn pine tha is an exact match to what I have already installed in my barn reno. I'll finally be able to finish this portion of the rehab and get the shop set up and ready for the opening in the spring!!

One of the benefits of being able to create one of a kind pieces is that our house gets to be filled with cool s**t!!
1. I custom built end tables out of old single draw filing cabinet, vintage school desk legs and reclaimed barn board.
2. I hung an old wooden painter's ladder next to our bathroom vanity using black gas pipe and fittings. I then built and installed 3 shelves out of reclaimed barn boards.

Nice facelift on this little cabinet. This is the last piece of furniture that my customer owns that was gifted to her by her late mother. She wanted to give it a facelift and gave me creative liberty. I changed out the draw fronts with nicely slivered cedar boards and used the same product for the back panel. I also changed out the top and replaced it with some beautiful reclaimed barn boards. I painted the rest of the cabinet an antique white and add a little distressed look to it. Finally I installed caster wheels on the bottom so it's easy to move around!! Another satisfied customer.

Gave this beat up workbench a new life.. our shop counter is ready. Removed the 1/4" plywood that was on the back and side and installed some tongue and groove cedar fence that I had leftover from another project. Also removed the piece of laminate that was hiding the gorgeous top. Fresh coat of lemon oil is all that was call for to bring the rest of it back to life!! The original Desmond Stephan MFG Co. bench vise is a nice touch!! One step closer to barn sale season!!

Finally got around to installing the new windows that I framed out last week!! Such a huge improvement for outlr shop. The amount of natural light let in is incredible.. not to mention that they are hinged for those warm summer days. I will be removing the remaining 2 smaller windows when I pick up more material and can trim out the exterior of the windows.

Came across this sweet piece of history in one of our favorite local shops .. I couldn't resist scooping it up. It's constructed out of 1/4in plexiglass. The letters and the old man are 3 dimensional. I'm planning on adding a picture frame boarder for a little rustic vibe. This will be a great addition to an office of someone in the finance industry or anyone who is a lover of New Hampshire history!!

I was able to get my hands on about 150-200 vintage pl***oy, hustler and penthouse magazines yesterday during a clean out. Most of them are 1970's - 1980's. Not sure what the value of them are but I'm sure there's a market out there somewhere for them.. DM me for details.

The renovation continues..
It's been a busy couple days in the shop. Ran electrical, installed outlets and started sheathing the walls. I'm shiplapping 1" rough sawn pine on the walls. .
