So… I’ve been a little quiet on Instagram this summer.

I was busy doing something wildly irresponsible: enjoying summer with my kids.

So sue me. 🤷‍♀️

But summer break is winding down, I’m back at my desk, and I have a whole lot of good stuff I’ve been saving up to share.

🌪️ In October 2024, this home was approximately 90% complete when a tornado tore through the neighborhood.

Many surrounding structures were severely damaged or destroyed. Remarkably, this home remained standing.

While we can’t say with certainty what made the difference, we’d like to think the extensive structural work completed during the renovation played a role in its resilience.

The homeowner’s vision never wavered, and together we pushed through the final stretch to bring the project across the finish line.
