Sometimes I like to share bits of "life".. and if you come to our store, you know from talking with us, we are open books 🥰
Just found this old Halloween photo of me, my brother & sister dressed as little Martians in front of our house in Chicago 👽💚
You can barely tell in the picture, but our faces were painted green too 😂 Honestly… this photo explains a lot. We’ve always been a little weird, a little different, and completely ourselves.
I don’t think I ever grew out of the strange, curious little girl phase — it just eventually turned into a store filled with ghosts, oddities, vintage treasures, and all the things I love most since I was young.
I started collecting antiques when I was 15, have tried to stop over the years, but it's what I'm drawn to the most. And history... old houses & buildings... I used to ask my dad to take pictures of them when I was just a few years old. I collected glow in the dark stuff. Read and wrote ghost stories and mysteries. Enjoyed talking to and spending time with seniors who had a wealth of knowledge to share. Always have been an empath and aware.
Some things never change… and I’m really glad they didn’t 🥰✨
