Come join us for community, snacks, coffee, tea and the special game of mahjong at the TBD Showroom on Friday, February 20th at 5pm. Last year, my mom, aunties and I loved teaching so many new players how to play and we kept the games going all year long. So don’t be shy, come learn or come school us haha. To me, Chinese New Year is all about celebrating with my family and friends and right now I need these gatherings more than ever. So do some quick house cleaning and sweep out all your bad energies before the 17th (first day of CNY), put on some lucky red and let’s celebrate this transformational year ahead of us in community!

No tickets for this event, but donations are welcomed to keep these events going. If you plan to join us, please shoot me a quick message or stop by the showroom room and let us know. We’re just trying to get a quick headcount.

Well…we made it December, yall.

I had all these plans for posting and doing all the things but now I find myself in between two work calls… pinch pots, pickles, wedging…and and I are on like Day 10 of late nights in the 47 degree studio. So needless to say, my best laid plans…are, well, laid to rest. ☺️

But we’re gonna keep pushing and showing up any way we can! I think that’s been my theme of 2025. 🤣

We are enjoying some turkey early today in the PNW so we can fly home tomorrow and keep the celebrations of gathering and being with the community this weekend going. Maybe we will even match outfits again…because apparently and I have hit that point in our relationship! 😆

Whether you gather with a friend this weekend, travel to see family or show up in your community, I hope you are able to connect with others around you and share some love with this world. We all need it right now. And if you need any extra hug, high five or dose of gratitude, please stop by the TBD Showroom on Friday or Saturday to say HI! We are so grateful for all the people who continue to show up for us and our “sweet-little-shop-that-could.”

We’re excited to welcome Vallejo watercolor artist to for a special workshop on Saturday, November 8 (3–5 pm)! 🌿

Kris will guide you through color mixing, washes, and layering as you create your own still-life painting. Each participant will use a Viviva Watercolor Set, which can be purchased at a discount to take home after the class or you can purchase a ticket for the class only and use a TBD provided set.

Whether you’re brand-new to watercolor or want to refresh your skills, this class is the perfect way to spend an autumn afternoon surrounded by color, creativity, and community.

Baseball season is here! Whether you are a new or OG Vallejo Seaweed fan, a baseball fan, or just a hot dog lover like me :) we want to feature your baseball-themed art in Mr. Lee’s Art Machine!

This art show is open to all ages starting Friday, June 13th. Images must be submitted by completing the Google Form link on the website. (Link in my bio too!)

Requirements:

- All art must be 2D so that the originals can be hung in the TBD Tiny Gallery for July 2025.
- For art to be printed and featured in the Art Machine, images must be scanned/photographed and submitted as a high-resolution JPEG or PDF in a 4:3 ratio. Images will be scaled down and printed as a 4” x 3” print.
- Any original artwork installed on the wall will need hooks or hanging equipment on the back of the frames.
- All submissions are due by midnight on Saturday, June 28th.
- Selections will be made on Sunday, June 29th and we will notify artists by the end of the day.
- All selected art will be printed by us and featured in Mr. Lee’s Art Machine at Vallejo Artwalk on Friday, July 11th.

Micah and I will both be traveling on July Artwalk, so our dear friends, neighbors, and fellow , , kindly accepted to host the Art Machine for the July Artwalk weekend. After July 13th, the machine will be back home at TreeBed Design (409 Virginia Street) for the remainder of July and we will be excited to invite everyone back to see the originals hung in the Tiny TBD Gallery.

We can’t wait to see what you create this season! Check out the Seaweed schedule and we hope you will join us to cheer on Vallejo in the stands at Wilson Park very soon.
