It has been a minute since I have been at the pouring table! So much of the summer has been focused on back office work that is boring for socials. 🤪

We hope things are getting back to normal for all of our friends in NWI after the strong storms last week. It has been a difficult week for many. We hope you are taking time to care for your mental well being as you get your homes back in order.

We are grateful our candles were able to provide one of our regulars peace of mind and a bit of joy while they were without power.

Please remember no matter what brand of candle you burn, never burn for more than 4 hours at a time and never leave a candle burning while you sleep.

Last month we made an investment in ourselves, our business, and our community. We are officially Valpo Chamber members!

I have admired these local leaders for years and am thrilled to now be among them as a fellow business owner.

Those 6:00am wake ups are a lot easier when you know you get to spend the morning with people who are there to support you and help make our community flourish. ⏰ 💪

Last week we partnered with Board & Brush Valparaiso, IN to volunteer with StRides Against Su***de & Overdose. We raised funds for therapy treatments while making these great board and brush designs.

I learned just how big the need is in our area. Last year Strides provided over 240 therapy sessions at no charge. This year, only six months in, they have provided over 650 sessions!

If you are struggling, please reach out for help. 988 is always available via text or phone.
You matter. You are loved. You are wanted.

Strides is hosting an event this Saturday, August 1 at Rogers Lakewood. Check their socials for details.

We are restocked at Blue Moon Barn & Vintage Market in Westville, IN.

Candle sales at this location support Elsa's Acres, Inc., a 40 acre rescue farm for horses, ducks, and more.

Stop in and shop a couple brand new scents that aren’t even on our website yet!

Blue Moon also books for micro weddings and intimate gatherings. They partner with local restaurants to provide top tier events. Give ‘em a follow and stop by soon.

Child abuse prevention is an important issue to us. Please join our friends at Board & Brush Valparaiso, IN and the Valparaiso Exchange Club to fund important local initiatives. We are donating a silent auction basket for this event.
