Congratulations to Apryl owner of Vintage Baked Modern on her recent ribbon cutting! Her shop is located at 208 Elm Street in Valparaiso.

She has the best baked goods and mixes and tons of gluten free options using a blend she invented herself!

She has been a friend for a long time and we are very grateful you can now also shop noah + frank candles at her store!

We didn’t have a booth but I sure enjoyed crashing Apryl’s with Vintage Baked Modern at tonight’s Valpo Chamber Network Night! So much fun. Always a treat to spend time with friends and hyping their businesses!

Apryl’s ribbon cutting is Monday Oct 19 at 4:30. She’ll have loads of delicious samples and lots of gluten free options. Check out her page and her shop in Valpo where Calumet converges by the tracks and splits.

It has been a minute since I have been at the pouring table! So much of the summer has been focused on back office work that is boring for socials. 🤪

On the table today, several new scents not yet on our website but out on our fundraiser forms.

Peppermint + Eucalyptus
The Dune Challenge
Palo Santo
And a classic: Fresh Linen

We hope things are getting back to normal for all of our friends in NWI after the strong storms last week. It has been a difficult week for many. We hope you are taking time to care for your mental well being as you get your homes back in order.

We are grateful our candles were able to provide one of our regulars peace of mind and a bit of joy while they were without power.

Please remember no matter what brand of candle you burn, never burn for more than 4 hours at a time and never leave a candle burning while you sleep.

Last week we partnered with Board & Brush Valparaiso, IN to volunteer with StRides Against Su***de & Overdose. We raised funds for therapy treatments while making these great board and brush designs.

I learned just how big the need is in our area. Last year Strides provided over 240 therapy sessions at no charge. This year, only six months in, they have provided over 650 sessions!

If you are struggling, please reach out for help. 988 is always available via text or phone.
You matter. You are loved. You are wanted.

Strides is hosting an event this Saturday, August 1 at Rogers Lakewood. Check their socials for details.

Use code STRIDES for online orders now through August 15 and 25% of proceeds will benefit this important mission.
