I’ve just added a new collection of silk scarves to Shojoi, each featuring a soft watercolor-inspired landscape designed to bring a little beauty and color to even the simplest outfit.

They’re made in lightweight 100% Royal Silk Chiffon and generously sized at 35.5" square, so there are plenty of ways to wear them—loosely at the neck, tied a little closer, in your hair, or added to a favorite bag.

Each print has its own feeling, from quiet alpine blues and soft coastal color to sunflowers, wildflowers and the richer shades of autumn.

✨ A Reintroduction to Shojoi: The Meaning Behind the Name ✨

The name Shojoi began with a simple idea: show joy.

From that idea came the heart of the brand:

Joy. People. Clothes.

Joy is the outcome. People are the focus. Clothes are how we help bring the two together.

The meaning behind Shojoi began taking shape years ago, while I was working in fashion retail and helping women choose clothing—not simply individual outfits, but coordinated wardrobes suited to their preferences, needs, and busy lives.

My favorite moments were when a lady stepped out of the fitting room, saw her new look in the mirror, and smiled. I loved how a few thoughtfully chosen pieces could help her feel refreshed, confident, and excited again. I loved helping create that moment.

Later, after being out of the corporate world, I began envisioning what a new chapter in my life might look like. I thought back to my favorite work memories and remembered helping so many women come in to shop but leave feeling beautiful and renewed. Shojoi grew from the intersection of those experiences: my desire to show joy and my love of helping people feel good. Clothes are one way to do that!

Clothing may be only one part of life, but it is part of how we begin each day. What we choose can bring comfort, express who we are, and create a small spark of joy that shapes how we start the day.

The Shojoi reimagined star reflects that spark—the lightness and joy we feel in helping others. It represents the light we carry within us, the joy found in everyday moments, and the possibility of continuing to grow into who we were created to be.

Today, Shojoi thoughtfully curates clothing with an emphasis on natural fabrics, everyday comfort, timeless style, and lasting quality. Every piece is chosen with real people and real lives in mind.
