Hawthorn’s first Heirloom Edit arrived online | A small, hand-curated collection of 38 pieces, gathered slowly and with care. From timeworn French antique stools and stoneware cider jugs, to a ditsy floral espresso set, original French vintage oil paintings + watercolors, to silver pieces, sourced by hand in France & Italy, chosen for its patina, presence, and story.

It’s amazing to know these objects have lived many lives, timeless and well-worn, full of story. They have passed through many homes, stood the test of years, and traveled far to arrive here, ready to make their way into your hearts, your home and your story.

We’re beyond excited to share that I was featured on Country Living Magazine’s Country Design 100 list this year! It’s such an honor to be included among so many talented designers and inspiring creatives from across the country whom I admire so much.

Even more fun? Hawthorn was included in the feature as well! Seeing the shop highlighted alongside this incredible group is truly surreal, and we’re so grateful for the love and recognition for small businesses and thoughtfully curated spaces.

Holiday hours + winter solstice magic | We’ve expanded our hours for the season — perfect for last-minute gifts, self care stocking stuffers, wrapping paper, ribbons, and cozy pieces for holiday hosting.

I’ll be out of town starting Tuesday, but my dear friend, Hannah, will be opening the shop while I’m away.

And to add a little solstice cheer: all holiday décor (tree skirts, stockings, calendars, ornaments + more) is 15% off through the New Year.

we are settling into the seasonal shift and the new rhythms of shop life, here at Hawthorn, and we’d love to welcome you in during our open hours Wednesdays, 10–3pm, Thursdays & Fridays 10–5pm and Saturdays 10–4pm.

we’re delighted to share that we are now a stockist of Marius Fabre soaps, the iconic French savon de Marseille that has been lovingly crafted in Provence since 1900. Made from olive and vegetable oils using traditional, slow-cooked methods, these soaps are free from synthetic additives and palm oil: gentle on the skin, kind to your home, and honoing of our environment. each bar is fully biodegradable and made to last, making it a timeless staple for natural living.
we’re also pleased to be carrying Redecker natural fibre brushes, beautifully made tools designed for everyday cleaning. thoughtfully crafted from natural materials, like beechwood they offer a lovely alternative to plastic cleaning supplies — both functional and beautiful in their simplicity.
