This one was a labor of love.
All of my signs are free handed without the use of stencils. Normally I like to sketch out what it’ll say with pencil beforehand and erase the stray pencil lines after the fact. I couldn’t do that with this one in fear of messing up the watercolor that I painted on first 😵
So, we went for it and luckily the quote I used FIT.
The quote was inspired by a custom order that I made for someone last week and also the gorgeous mountains we saw driving into Front Royal💕

Working on building up a stock of signs to have on hand made me think back to the quote that started all of my sign-making: “Country roads take me home”.
Since that first one, I honestly couldn’t put a number on how many I’ve made over the years.
