It's been too long since my last post (busy working!), but here's a before-and-after of a portion of a primary bedroom project that I've been working on.

The room was dark, dated, and "heavy". Now it's lighter, brighter, and elegantly updated. The new white & blue drapery, brushed brass hardware, mirror and dresser k***s, and blue dot accent chair make such a difference!

Which change catches your eye first?

Crazy!!! Currently 38, feels like 21, high of 75?!? So far this morning, it’s been raining, snowing, back to raining, and it’s super windy. This is some crazy weather, especially after 82 and sunshine yesterday! 🤪

Wow, I'm pretty intrigued by this cool product from Fittes! It's a hidden outlet that can be covered in your chosen tile, wood, or other material to better blend in with the wall. No more ugly outlets interrupting a backsplash tile design! I definitely want to use this on future remodeling projects! 🤩

Sometimes it's fun to swing back to a previous project and see how it evolved from a blank canvas into something beautiful!

These clients wanted a custom bookcase to disguise a large air filter vent and HVAC vent that were unfortunately located on the living room's main wall - a major focal point. Through careful planning, detailed drawings, and collaborative work with the (very talented and patient) carpenter (Brady's Capital Projects), we created a beautiful bookcase to display their artifacts and treasures from international travel!

It's not only mobile (with concealed wheels) to move it out of the way for quarterly air filter changes, but it also has black metal mesh at the top to provide air flow for the HVAC vent. This custom piece was definitely a labor of love, and the clients were thrilled with the outcome!

A heated towel rack is considered a "luxury" feature in American bathrooms, but did you know about its many other benefits beyond comfort and coziness?
