Pray for Olly
Please join me in praying for Olly, my beloved dog and best friend, today and tomorrow, especially, and for the next few weeks.
We have found two large masses, one in the lung and one in the liver, and additional imaging showed a 1 cm mass in the lung as well.
He is having surgery tomorrow (Monday) to have them removed and this is an extensive surgery that will require lots of recovery. We are praying that at least two of the masses are benign, and that any mass that may be cancerous is low-grade.
Please pray for the surgeons and vet techs who will be caring for him to have discernment when making decisions and to provide him with the best care possible. Please pray for his nervous system, as he will have to stay overnight for a few days. Please pray for me to have reduced anxiety.
This entire process has been emotionally and financially exhausting. Please do not ask me how we are – we are taking it day by day doing the best we can, and I’m not ready to speak out loud about it. I will do my best to post updates if you want to follow the story.
