On our way to Brimfield, but thought this was a good post. Some of you know this story, but I wanted the girls’ CT bath to feel nostalgic so I researched mosaic floor patterns and came across this rose motif and border. My tiler installer pretty much laughed in my face so I laid the tile myself 😜

Today I turn 40, and I can honestly say my 30s were the best decade of my life!

In the last ten years, I became a mom (which will always be the greatest joy and biggest privilege of my life), built a business that started as a dream into something I could have never imagined, designed and built a home from the ground up, took a lot of risks, met some of my very best friends, and was honored with one of the most prestigious awards in the design industry. It was a decade I’ll never forget!

I don’t think I ever really stopped to reflect on everything this decade held. I’ve always been onto the next project, the next goal, the next thing. But looking back, I’m really proud. Proud of the life I’ve built for myself and my family, the business I’ve grown, and all of the moments (big and small) that got me here. It wasn’t always easy, but I wouldn’t change a thing.

I’m not quite sure how to top my 30s... but everyone keeps telling me your 40s are even better, so I’m choosing to believe them.

Here’s to embracing a new decade with so much gratitude, a little more confidence, and excitement for whatever comes next. Thank you to everyone, especially my incredible family Bradley Hunter

Bring on 40!

Sharing more from Bedford since you all seemed to really like the living room! This is the primary bedroom and we kept it warm with the raffia walls, but added cooler pops of blues. What do you all think?

One trend I’m seeing with my younger clients? More and more are asking to combine the mudroom and laundry room into one hardworking space.

I get it! It’s incredibly practical, especially with little kids. You can walk in, kick off muddy shoes, peel off dirty clothes, and toss everything straight into the washer before anyone tracks it through the house.

The key, though, is making it feel like more than just a utility room. I always think these spaces deserve just as much attention as the rest of the home and that’s why we add wallpaper, paint, and all the fun details.

There’s something about a pop of color in an otherwise mostly all white kitchen. Here we added just a little bit of color behind the range in a beautiful delft blue at our Brooklyn townhouse project.

The living room at our Bedford project is such a fun palette of red, green, and yellow. I especially love the green striped rug and how cheery it is!
Would love to know your thoughts!

Some behind the scenes of millwork, wallpaper, and hardware going in at our Garden City project this past week. More lighting will go up this week and then furniture and rugs will arrive for our install in about a week from now!
