Just handed this guy off to his forever home 🖤…it was suggested i use the Insects music video as inspiration to go along with the bust…and it all just kinda came together from there!! My cats even helped a little by completely destroying the first round of insects i pinned & painted for this piece 😹☠️

So hey, since sales are down these days, I want to remind y’all of something that I offer completely free! I have a blog that I’ve been posting in for a bunch of years now called Beth’s Bug Blog. It’s a fun little thing that I do because I enjoy researching and writing almost as much as I enjoy creating art 🤗 I typically try to do a Bug of the Week post every week (Tuesdays)…sometimes it falls to the wayside, as it did last week. So this week, I’m making up by posting two bugs of the week blog posts! Bumblebees AND Dogbane beetles 🐝🪲 both very interesting and very springtime type critters.
