An old piece, a new story.....

This old stand was given to me by my sweet friend and now its living a new life in our sunroom AKA "reptile room".
My husband asked me if I could create something similar to the other cabinet I did for him before and of course I said yes 😊

When I first posted the progress on this stand I liked it but then after I finished it something felt off so I went back over and added different colors in the sky and the cactuses 🌵 🧡

Does it look the same as the other cabinet I did for him? No, because on that cabinet I used a big decoupage paper on it. Nothing wrong with using decoupage on that piece but for this stand I wanted to handpaint him something for him instead.
He loves it! 😍

A peek into what I'm working on 🥰

This is for my husband for his reptile room, the same room the bigger cabinet is in that I did for him last year. But this time around I decided to try my hand at painting all of it, I love it so far and can't wait for him to see it 😊

I recorded some of it but I was mostly enjoying being in the moment and just going to town playing. I still have more to do so stay tuned!
