A little look at the front AND back of some of my wood-burned artwork that will be available at my next craft event! 🌲🪵

I wanted to share these photos to give everyone a better idea of just how substantial these pieces are!

The wood has spent years naturally weathering outdoors, and I’ve chosen to preserve the backs just as nature created them, with all their beautiful bark, cracks, textures, and imperfections.

I can picture these looking beautiful in a rustic cabin, man cave, she shed, or covered porch! 🩷 (owl is still in progress)

Seeing pages from my coloring book colored in by others is seriously one of the best feelings. 🩷

I wanted to share a few examples because every person brings something a little different to the page, and I love that.

If you already have my Pacific Northwest Coloring Book, send me your finished pages — I’d love to see them and share more reader creations!

And if you’ve been curious about it, I’ll post the Amazon link in the comments. 😊

🦉 The owl is coming together quite nicely! 🤎

I’ve been spending some time adding detail, texture, and shading to this piece. Still more work to do, especially with the surrounding woodland details, but I’m really enjoying watching this one take shape. 🌿

One burn at a time! 🔥🤎

A little peek at what I’ve been working on lately! 🦅🦉🌲

I’m putting the finishing touches on my eagle piece and have officially started on this beautiful owl! Both are hand-burned on natural wood, and I’ve really been enjoying watching these two come to life.

I’m excited to share that I’ll have these pieces and plenty more available at Potato Creek Punkery’s Annual Community Artisan Event, November 13th–15th! 🍂

I’ve got more projects in the works between now and then, and I can’t wait to share them with you!

Hope to see some familiar faces there! ❤️

A little progress update on this piece 🤎🦅

I haven’t shared much of my wood-burning lately because I just haven’t quite been in the right creative headspace for it.

Sometimes I can look at a piece and immediately know what I want to do next. Other times, I can stare at it and feel completely lost, even when I love the piece itself. That’s kind of where I’ve been lately.

I’ve still been slowly working on it here and there, and when I stepped back tonight, I realized it really is getting closer.

There’s still a lot left to burn, shade, soften, and bring to life, but progress is progress. 🤎

Sometimes creativity flows, and sometimes it takes a little longer to find your way back into it.

I wanted to share something a little different that I’ve started here in our local community. 🩷

I recently created “Share the Warmth — Wenatchee”, a page focused on putting together and handing out warmth bags to people living outside in our area during the cold season.

It’s still very new, but it’s slowly growing, and I’ll be sharing updates there as bags are put together, donations come in, and items are handed out.

If you’d like to follow along or help the page reach more local people, I’d really appreciate the support. 🫶🏼

It’s officially available on Amazon! 🩷

I’m so excited to share that my newest book is now available for purchase!

Shop here:

Amazon’s “Look Inside” preview can take several business days to appear after a new book is published. If you’d like to see a few photos of the inside in the meantime, please feel free to send me a message! 🩷

If you purchase a copy, I’d also greatly appreciate an honest Amazon review once you’ve had a chance to enjoy it. Reviews help independent creators tremendously and make it easier for new customers to discover our work.

Purchases, reviews, and shares all help support my family, and I truly appreciate every one of them. 🩷

The Pacific Northwest Coloring Collection: Where Every Creature Becomes Part of the Landscape

The next piece has officially begun! 🩷 🦅

Right now it's a whole lot of lines, woodburning... and whatever is happening on the back 🤣

This is another one of my larger pieces, and I'm really excited to watch this one come to life.

An eagle tucked into the pine tree with a PNW landscape below — there is still so much burning left to do, but I'm already loving where it's headed.

Work in progress - more to come.

A little studio update 💕

I haven’t shared an update on this piece in a while, but it’s just about finished!

I’ve spent so many hours building all of the tiny details into this one—from the dragonfly wings and cattails to the mountains, pond, lily pads, trees and rocks. I’m finally at the point where I have to tell myself to put the burner down before I add something I’ll regret, which I may have already. 😂

Now all that’s left is sanding and cleaning up a few areas before it’s officially finished.
