Little by little, the Fish Camp is finding its rhythm. 🤍

A well-loved Audubon book, vintage binoculars, and shadow boxes filled with tiny treasures gathered along the shore. Not just décor… an invitation.

Slow down. Look closer.

Around here, the birds put on quite a show—great blue herons, little blue herons, green herons, snowy egrets, wood storks, roseate spoonbills if you’re lucky… every day is a little different.

We hope you’ll grab the binoculars, step outside, and see what the tide has brought in.

This kitchen came up in a conversation recently, and it reminded me of one of my favorite projects…not just because of how it turned out, but because of how we got there.

My sister Erin and I renovated Butterfly Cottage together in the spring of 2024. She’s the first to tell you she’s “not the designer,” but some of the best ideas don’t come from the person with the title.

I’ve learned that great design isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about listening. Asking questions. Being open to another perspective. Sometimes the suggestion that pushes a project from good to unforgettable comes from someone who simply sees things differently.

This kitchen became the heart of the home…and in the end, it sold the house.

It’s a good reminder that collaboration isn’t a compromise. It’s often where the magic happens🪄🦋🤍✨

It took a little persuasion to convince me to climb out of bed before sunrise after a long Fourth of July weekend… and I’m so glad it did.🌅🎣

There is something about mornings at the fish camp that resets everything. Warm wood walls, fresh flowers picked from the yard, quiet marsh views, and a sunrise that reminds you why slowing down matters.

Weekends like this fill the creative tank in ways no Pinterest board ever could.

Today it’s back to the studio, carrying a little bit of this peace into the homes I’m designing next.✍️💻

There’s something about the little cardboard books that gets me every time. 🤍📚

This sweet room came together with a mama who was waiting on the arrival of her little girls and wanted every detail of the reveal to feel magical, soft, and full of love. ✨ Today, peeking into the install, those tiny books in the foreground gave me all the feels! 🥹

Motherhood has a way of making ordinary things sacred — bedtime stories, tiny fingerprints, stacks of worn board books by the bed. 🧸🌙 The seasons move so fast.
