🍋🌿 SHE’S BACK. Finally. 🌿🍋
After a much longer hiatus than we ever planned, our Lemon Verbena + Thyme "Welcome Home" candle is BACK IN STOCK in both 13.5oz and 6oz tins.
This has long been one of our best sellers, and we know some of you have been waiting very patiently for its return. The reason it disappeared wasn’t because we stopped loving it (we could never). We ran into ongoing supply challenges with one of the oils that gives this candle its beautiful, fresh scent—and we weren’t willing to replace it with something we didn’t feel lived up to the original.
So, indulge us in a tiny small-business soapbox moment. 🧼📣
When you run a small business and make products in small batches, there’s an entire ecosystem of other businesses behind what you do. Our candles may be poured by our hands, but before anything reaches our shelves, we depend on the people producing and supplying the waxes, fragrance and essential oils, wicks, vessels, packaging, labels, and countless other little things that make the finished product possible.
And when you’re committed to sourcing quality ingredients from suppliers whose products and practices you feel good about, sometimes the easiest solution (replacing them when not available) simply isn’t the right solution.
Small businesses rely on other small businesses to thrive. When one link in that chain hits a snag, it can ripple all the way down to our shelves. We could chase cheaper ingredients, constantly reformulate, or compromise just to keep something “in stock.”
But that’s not how we want to make things.
Sometimes being a small business means waiting. Sometimes it means explaining to customers that their favorite is unavailable. And sometimes it means having a table covered in freshly poured candles, with wicks held up by clothespins and popsicle sticks and thinking: FINALLY. We got her back. 💛
