How Do I Blend Tarot & Crochet?

For me, crocheting and tarot are both about intuition, patience, and energy. When I make a piece, I’m not just working with yarn—I’m working with intention. The same way a tarot reading reveals insight, the colors and stitches in my crochet work carry meaning.

Sometimes, I choose colors based on tarot symbolism. Deep blues for wisdom (The High Priestess), warm golds for confidence (The Sun), or grounding earth tones for stability (The Empress). Every piece is crafted with care, just like every card I pull.

35 hours to make all the squares
6 hours to sew them together and add a border

This year I created a sponge empire! I grew 3 plants from seed that produced 25 luffa sponges. They also basically took over my whole garden 😂 Next year I’m trying trellises for a lovely garden oasis 💚

I will be making luffa soap soon - what scents would you like to see featured? 🧼🫧

It’s hard to believe that it has been nearly 5 years since I picked up my first crochet hook, but in many ways, crochet has been a part of my life long before that. It runs in my blood - my maternal grandmother and aunt were avid crocheters and I’m proud to carry on the passion for the craft.

From cozy hats and scarves to meditation pillows and blankets, I’ve had the joy of creating pieces for family and friends. I can honestly say my favorite creation, however, is the next one. Every project sparks new creativity, and I’m so grateful to be able to share that joy with others.
