Hello, my name is Courtney Eldridge, and I am the owner of River Region Aromas. I wanted to introduce myself, so you know who you are supporting when you shop with this small business!
For starters, I am originally from Gadsden, Alabama, but moved to Wetumpka back in 2002 and have been here since. I am married to my high school sweetheart, DJ Eldridge, and we have been together almost 16 years! We are currently expecting our first child together, a son, after years of fertility struggles. Our son is due this December and we are so excited! We are also fur-parents; We have a dog named Dakota and a cat named Bubba. I am a Sergeant, Firefighter, and EMT at Santuck Fire Department. Me and my husband have been members of the FD for over 10 years, and we absolutely love giving back to our community!
What is now River Region Aromas actually started out as my father’s business. He started “River Region Candles” back in 2023 where he made wax melts, candles, room sprays, car diffusers, and sachet freshies as a hobby and turned it into a business. In 2024, I assumed a marketing role on the business page and eventually took over the whole business as my father moved on to other endeavors. Thus, River Region Aromas was born! I continued making the original products my father started and slowly began to expand into the other amazing products that you see in the product line-up today!
I expanded again in 2025 to include a bath and body care line. My aunt, who owns her own business known as TCH Designs, decided she wanted to focus on her DTF business, so she turned over her bath and body care line to me. It just makes sense to add body care to my business of making all things that smell divine, right? So, I took the products she made and expanded it to include many of the bath and body care products you see from River Region Aromas today!
Funny enough, I have always had an interest in being crafty and making things like wax melts and soaps but never imagined I would own a business where I got to make things I love and share them with all of you! I truly love the process of formulating, creating, and testing all these products before they reach the shelves for others to purchase! Perks of owning your own “smell good” business is that you get to use products you trust to make your home smell incredible!
Supporting River Region Aromas is not like supporting a large corporation who mass produces. I pride myself in hand-crafting the products you see from high-quality ingredients where quality matters over quantity. When shopping at River Region Aromas, you are supporting products that have been quality tested and perform beautifully each time. I am incredibly grateful for each and every supporter that I have! I truly enjoy meeting and interacting with each of you throughout this journey. You give me the strength and courage to continue to do what I do by allowing my business the chance to flourish and my dream the opportunity to become a reality!!
