For all the Chicago Bears stuff I own, one thing I’ve never actually had is a pair of true Bears shoes.

Apparently the ladies weren’t invited to this particular party, so yes, I had to venture into men’s sizing to get them. 😂 But BABY… these were worth it.

They’re brand new, they’re Bears, and even better—they are ridiculously comfortable. Like, I bought them because 🐻⬇️, but I’ll actually wear the hell out of these because they’re a genuinely great shoe.

Taking a trip down memory lane today to honor my very first Google reviewer, Mickey Strain, who is sadly no longer with us.

Mickey was an absolute joy and a huge fan of my cookies.

Looking at her profile, in all her 70+ years, she only ever left two Google reviews—and I am so incredibly honored to be one of them.

I’ll never forget gifting her this special custom set. To this day, I’m still not 100% sure if she knew the exact meaning behind the 420 and leaf designs, but she smiled, loved every single bite, and declared them the best she’d ever had!

Mickey, your warmth, support, and humor are so deeply missed. Thank you for giving my business its very first 5-star shoutout. 🍁✨

I’ve had plenty of opportunities to do markets over the last year or so… and if I’m being completely transparent, I’ve found plenty of reasons not to. 😅

I work full time. I still have custom cookie orders. What if I make too much? What if I don’t sell everything? What am I supposed to do with leftovers? I’ve even paid for market spots before and then backed out because I talked myself right out of going.

But 2026 has been very much about getting out of my own way.

So… I’m doing it.

I’m officially signed up for at least two markets this fall/winter, with a possible third, and

I’m keeping it simple:

That’s it.

No trying to bake every single thing I know how to make. No overcomplicating it. Just a couple of things I know people can have fun with.

And apparently we’re getting serious now because this giant pegboard just came home with me. 😂 My PYO cookies will hang on it so they’re easy to see without taking over all my table space.

Now I just need to add the sign across the top, finish my market menu board, and get my acrylic QR sign made for payments and connecting with Fabuela Q Cookies. And buy pegs...lol

So I guess there’s no backing out now.

From the interest I’ve been seeing in private classes and events, I have a feeling my public classes may become a little more few and far between.

Public events take a lot of time behind the scenes — creating the event, promoting it, keeping the posts going, and filling individual seats — while private classes let me focus more on creating the actual experience for one group.

So no, I’m not disappearing from cookie classes. Quite the opposite. 😂 I may just be doing more of them privately.

🏈 Texas Homecoming season is here… so of course I had to make it EXTRA. 🏈

This was my very first run at a Homecoming Mum Cookie, and yes — I already know I want to play around with a few different piping tips for the mum petals and tweak a few little details. One of my royal icing helmets even sacrificed itself during the process. 😂 But for a first attempt? I am absolutely here for it.

These babies are BIG — approximately 5½ inches and weighing in around 5½ ounces each. Basically the cookie version of a real Texas mum: gaudy, layered, excessive, and doing the absolute most. 🤣

Each one is made to order in your school colors and includes: • football, megaphone + helmet royal icing details
• your choice of HOCO or 2026 on the center ribbon
• one personalized ribbon with either a student name or mascot name
• your choice of metallic silver, metallic gold, or no metallic accent

Bulk pricing applies when all cookies are ordered in the same school-color palette. Additional wording, ribbons, personalization, or royal icing transfers may be available for an additional charge.

And because nobody needs a whole dozen of these unless you’re feeding the entire damn student section 😂, these are an exception to my normal one-dozen minimum.

They make a fun Homecoming surprise, a sweet way to ask someone to Homecoming, or just a ridiculously extra treat for your favorite student.

These are available in my signature cherry-almond amaretto flavor only and are individually boxed because of the delicate, dimensional details. They are not heat sealed, need to remain flat, and should be handled carefully.

Alright, detectives… here’s a little more information on the case. 🔎🍪

Meet Bella the Baker, owner of Bella’s Beautiful Bites.

Bella just had the kind of week every baker dreams about — she entered her chocolate chip cookies in the State Fair of Texas and walked away with the blue ribbon. 🏆

Her cookies were named the best in the competition.
And then things went sideways.
Sometime after her big win, somebody got into Bella’s bakery.

Her award-winning cookies disappeared.
And so did the recipe.

Now we’ve got a crime scene, evidence, people investigators are very interested in talking to… and one very important question:

Who Dunnit? 👀
