Here’s a sneak peek of a special project I’ve been working on. I just dropped these 3 lanterns off at Magpie Collective in Wichita Falls!

I’m calling these “hideaway lanterns” - the light fits on the base like a lid (not permanently attached) and the inside is hollow, creating a perfect little hiding place for small objects you may not want to leave sitting out on your desk. The lanterns are rechargeable LED lamps (cord included — stored inside the base).

More lanterns are coming to my website soon, so stay tuned!

I unloaded a glaze firing today and, as usual, forgot to make a video 🤦‍♀️. But here’s one of the highLIGHTS from this batch! You don’t want to know how many failed attempts I had at getting the measurements right on these!

Sometimes complicated is worth it! This pendant light shade is the perfect example, so I’m sharing a glaze process video. All glazes are from , and the clay is B-mix.

Still in the trial & error/testing phase for TWO new projects. This step = making sure the second iteration of my stamps work better than the first. I think I have colors nailed down for one, and I have a good idea of what I want to do for the other. I hope to have something to share with and sometime next week. I’ll also have a few more of my lyric mugs ready to post on my website soon—stay tuned!
