This one is not for sale, sorry.

A barracuda model. This one has a bit of a unique finish. I spent a little bit more time on it pre heat treat than I normally do, and ran it through the tumbler after heat treat. So you are seeing a bit of a stonewashed forge scale finish.

What do you think of that?

Paired with spalted maple for the handle.

Good morning world 🌎
Today I talk about how I drill my segmented scale sets to make sure they line up correctly.

There are probably lots of different ways to accomplish this task, this is just the way that works best for me. I hope it helps someone out there.

I got this one finished up, and wow 👌🏻🔥🧑‍🍳💋. What a smoke show this one turned out to be.

I’m not going to lie… I almost decided to keep this one for myself. In the end, I’ve decided not to do so. I’m going to be putting this one on the website later this evening. *EDIT* Sold ⚠️

It’s from the same billet of steel as the last one - a go mai layout with a 120 layer random pattern used for the core.

Textured and patina’d brass for the guard and pin. Orange and black g10 spacer. The handle is some of the best figured ringed gidgee I have ever seen. Absolutely top shelf piece of timber right there, with some agressive contouring and an excellent feel in the hand.
