📣 MAKER STUDIO UPDATE — EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 6TH

Our Maker Studio has officially been open for over a month! 🎉 During that time, we’ve been able to see what works really well, what needs a little tweaking, and how we can make the experience better for everyone.

Beginning October 6th, we’ll be making a few changes to the way the Maker Studio operates.

🕯️ WALK-INS ARE STILL WELCOME!

You absolutely do NOT need a reservation just to come in and make something!

Families, couples, friends, or individuals are still welcome to walk in during regular Maker Studio hours.

To help keep things organized and make sure everyone gets the attention they need, Maker Studio sessions will begin at the top of each hour.

If you arrive between sessions, we may ask you to hang tight until the next session begins.

👥 GROUPS, PARTIES & ORGANIZED EVENTS

If you are bringing an organized group of 5 or more people — such as a birthday party, church group, youth group, club, work outing, girls’ night, team event, or other organized gathering — a reservation will now be required.

This policy is intended for organized groups and events. A family or small group of friends simply coming in to enjoy the Maker Studio together is still welcome to walk in!

Because our customer occupancy is limited to 25 people, reservations help us make sure we have enough space, supplies, and team members available for your group without impacting our other Maker Studio guests.

Groups of 5 or more will require a 20% deposit at the time of booking.

📅 CANCELLATIONS & DEPOSITS

All reserved groups and events require at least 72 hours’ notice for cancellation.

If your reservation is cancelled 72 hours or more before your scheduled event, your deposit may be refunded or transferred to a new reservation date.

Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the scheduled event, as well as no-shows, will result in the 20% deposit being forfeited and becoming nonrefundable.

Reservations and deposits can be made in person or over the phone.

These changes aren’t meant to make the Maker Studio complicated — they’re actually meant to do the opposite! After our first month, we’ve learned a lot about how people use the space, and these adjustments will help us provide a smoother, more enjoyable experience for everyone.

We’re incredibly excited to keep growing the Coastal Virginia Candle Co. Maker Studio, and we can’t wait to see what you create! 🕯️🌊💙

✨ INTRODUCING FRAGRANCE FRIDAYS! ✨

Every Friday, we’ll reveal the 15 fragrances available in the Maker Studio for the upcoming week! 🎉

Our fragrance lineup will run Friday through Thursday, and then we’ll shake things up again the following Friday!

🌊 You may notice a few of our core fragrances—like Alpine Cotton, Lemon Delight, and Seaside Serenity—showing up a little more often than others. But for the most part, our fragrances will be on a weekly rotation, giving you something new to discover, blend, and create with every week!

👀 And every single week, we’ll have a MYSTERY FRAGRANCE in the lineup. You won’t know what it is until you smell it!

And remember: just because WE call a fragrance something doesn’t mean YOU have to!

This is your creation. Mix fragrances. Rename them. Get creative. Make something completely your own. That’s the whole point of the Maker Studio! 🕯️✨

Thank you to everyone who stopped by today! It was great seeing every one!

I also want to send a huge thanks to all of my friends and family for helping me over the past few weeks with anything and everything that you've done, from walking Ranger, to putting a sign up, to pricing something, building something, or even just sitting in a a chair and listening to me vent about something while I work. I love each of you!
