If you’ve ever met our team member Denyse, you know she has a calm, steady way of walking into a space… and somehow the whole room exhales. She makes the work feel lighter, the client feel safer, and the process feel possible — even when it starts out looking like pure chaos.
Denyse joined us in the summer of 2023 (after, in her words, “chasing us around a little” 😂). Before NCS, she spent 26 years as a registered nurse — certified in nephrology, and later moving into leadership and administration, while always keeping what mattered most: real, human connection. Her nurse heart shows up in every job she touches.
One of our favorite things about Denyse is her humility. She’ll tell you she came in thinking she was “fairly organized” because her home was clean… then had a big lightbulb moment: clean is not the same as organized. Organized means functional, sustainable systems — and she didn’t just learn that here, she now lives it and brings it to every client she supports.
She shines in our Page By Page sessions, especially with older adults — listening deeply, honoring emotions, and helping people move forward without shame. On team jobs, she’s the quiet anchor, reminding others to trust the process (even during that last-hour pressure 😉). She’s also incredible on packing jobs, always thinking ahead so unpacking feels seamless, not stressful.
Outside of NCS, Denyse is a proud wife to her husband Rick, a devoted grandma, a coffee-and-dogs kind of girl, and a self-proclaimed lollygagger who loves family time, the boat, and the simple good stuff.
And what we love most? She’s in this for the long run — still growing with us, still shaping what this company becomes.
Denyse, you’re the real deal… and we’re lucky you’re ours. 💛
