Neutrals don’t have to be the whole story. Sometimes they’re what give the color room to work.

In this kitchen, the soft cabinetry and flowing veining of the quartz create a quiet backdrop for layers of blue and warm brass throughout the space. Even the smaller moments get to carry some personality.

One of my favorites here is the colorful wall sculpture my clients selected from Ardest Gallery by artist Eliana Bernard. It’s a small detail, but it adds exactly the right bit of energy. Ardest Gallery Eliana Bernard

A better look at this completed kitchen renovation in The Woodlands, Texas.

The goal was to create a kitchen that felt elevated and updated without losing the character of the home. The design layered warm wood, soft neutral cabinetry, substantial millwork, new high end quartz surfaces, and brass details into a space that now feels brighter, more functional, and far more intentional.

And because the kitchen opens directly into the living space, it was important that the entire view work together, not just the cabinetry itself.

A first look at a recently completed kitchen renovation in The Woodlands, Texas.

This home had experienced significant water damage, creating an opportunity to rethink the kitchen and bring the space back with a fresh, elevated direction.

Two sinks are only the beginning.

A primary bathroom works best when each person has space to get ready, store everyday essentials, and move through the room without competing for the same few inches of countertop.

Here, the floating walnut vanity keeps the room visually light, while wall-mounted faucets and concealed storage make the surface easier to use and easier to keep clear.

His side. Her side. One modern primary suite.

Matching walnut nightstands and sculptural white lamps give the room a clean, balanced rhythm, while the objects on each side make it feel personal rather than perfectly matched.

The softness comes through layers of texture: velvet pillows in deep navy, rust, and washed blue, a bamboo-quilted blanket tucked beneath the duvet, and a custom upholstered bed frame by California-based Nathan Anthony Furniture.

Modern and tailored, but still warm enough to settle into at the end of the day.

The best personal spaces are rarely built around themes.

This cocktail lounge started with aviation, but it was never about filling the room with airplane decor. It was about family history, favorite drinks, moody navy walls, mid-century lines, and creating one small room in our home that feels completely our own.

🥃 Swanky, personal, a little nostalgic, and just moody enough to feel like a night out without leaving the house!
