As some of you know, I’ve been having back issues for quite some time and will be having surgery in December. With that being said, I will no longer be doing hardwood flooring. I would like to thank everyone for 20+ years of business. Hopefully I’ll be back in my wood-shop soon, but with smaller projects.

Refinishing antique heart pine never gets old. Another beautiful floor finished this afternoon.

Pine hardwood flooring that had been covered by two coats of paint of the years. Sanded it down to the original wood and finished it with a satin finish (still wet) to bring out it’s original beauty.

This house was built circa 1910 and had 4 coats of paint covering the original heart pine flooring. With the right equipment and a lot of work these floors were brought back to their former glory, and maybe a little bit better. Here is a before and after walkthrough of the house.
