Every now and then its important to make something that you keep, this is one of those projects. When I saw the old cast iron sewing table base being thrown away I knew I could use it for something. Ended up with this walnut and epoxy end table and couldn't be happier with how it turned out!

When you get custom LOTRs chess pieces you just have to have a custom chess board to go with it! This board was made from all hard woods. The top is made from Walnut and Maple. The sides are made from Walnut with Hackberry inlays that were lasered out to depict scene from each of the movies. The front of the board has a draw to hold all the chess pieces with the One Ring as the drawer pull.
