I have some great personal news to share!
I was offered a really great full time position at an amazing company, but the only catch was I had to start TODAY! So, that being said, I'm not going to attend Seaglass Monthly Market this weekend. I am, however, taking orders for free local delivery!
I'll make another post later today with available fabrics and products, but message me with any requests you may have. I'm looking forward to helping you give the gift of sustainability this holiday season!
Now for the sappy part 😆 Many of you know I had to close my small business, Painting with a Twist earlier this year. It was quite a blow to our family, but I had had the idea for Earth Happy Home in my head for a while and so I started sewing to take my mind off of things and save some money at home. Friends started ordering batches of towels and I started realizing that I was onto something.
I started doing outdoor markets with low expectations; I knew my people liked what I did, but would the public? The resounding answer is YES! In three months I could hardly keep products on my tables at events. I spent hours talking with people about sustainability in their homes and where they could make easy, lasting changes for the good of the earth and their wallets.
2020 has been really stinking hard for all of us, but I'm so thankful it led me to follow this little nagging idea and see where it led. And I'm so very thankful for the community that supports small business and the environment, and values what I do. I can't wait to see what next year brings! Happy Holidays y'all, I love you!✨🌎☺️🏡✨
