Long weekend thoughts:

🇺🇸Memorial Day is not about sales and cookouts, it’s to remember those who gave their lives so that we could live ours in freedom. “All gave some; some gave all.” — Unknown

🐬 Take a moment, look around, and really see. On our boat ride Friday afternoon we saw this osprey, and dolphin once again surrounded us (I think they like us💙) No one else stopped to look, they were too busy looking at their phones! Why go out on your boat if you are just going to be glued to your device?!? I didn’t even get a video of them jumping around, because once I got a few photos, I put the phone down to enjoy the magic of nature with my eyes rather than through a screen.

A little day in the life for you. No two days look alike for a small business owner, and I have to say, this was a pretty good one.

☀️I always go for a walk in the morning to move my body and appreciate where I live. Then I headed to Oak Island to check on a work in progress and present some ideas to my clients. From there, I checked out the property where a future project is soon beginning. Back to where a pallet awaited unpacking and merchandising. I had a little time at my desk (not shown because who wants to see that) then helped close up the shop for the day. Home for a quick walk around the neighborhood and some dinner and sofa time, knowing that tomorrow will look completely different.
