Decorative faucets are one of my favorite things to select in a project—it can add so much beauty and character to a home. Choosing it for our own renovation was even more special because I got to work with a dear friend. Longley Supply Company is a third-generation, family-owned business that has been part of Wilmington for over 100 years, and their team was wonderful throughout the process.

From unlacquered brass and hammered metal sinks for our entertaining closet and coffee bar, and polished nickel in our primary bathroom, these are details I loved choosing and now love using every day. So grateful to have Longley Supply Company be part of our home. ✨

At home with Liz ✨

This porch has become one of our favorite spaces in the new addition. We live out here—morning coffee, watching games, and evenings with friends. Everyone gravitates to it, and our kids especially love hanging out here with their friends.

Our architect, Amanda Orr, AIA really got to know our family and how we like to live and entertain. She drew a home that feels just right for us, and this porch is a perfect example.

Since we live out on the porch, I wanted to furnish it like a living room. Outdoor furniture is worth investing in when you use it every day—it should be every bit as comfortable and beautiful as what’s inside. The Janus et Cie pieces were perfect for this space. 🤍

At Home with Liz: the Entertaining Closet ✨

This little room was first drawn as a powder room, then considered for my home office. But I kept coming back to what I really wanted: a place for the vases, glassware, china, napkin rings, candles and linens I’ve collected over the years. I love using these special things when we have friends & family over and it’s so nice to be able to see everything in one space.

During construction, I saw exposed plumbing on the wall behind this and realized we could add a sink for arranging flowers, complete with a beautiful wall-mounted faucet. It’s one of the smallest rooms in our house, but it brings me so much joy. 🌸

The small space under the sink and cafe curtain houses our Roomba. 💡🔌
