Landon has been fighting hard. On Sunday he will have been in the hospital 8 weeks. He got VOD, a liver complication. Once he recovered from that he got graph vs host disease of the gut. He has suffered set back after set back. We do have a lot to be thankful for, it’s just been a very heavy cross. He is depressed and withdrawn and nothing we do is cheering him up. Friends helped us get a traditional preist, Father Quinn Gomez, from the local FSSP, to come and talk with Landon. He was so wonderful. He brought Landon Holy Communion and gave him the sacrament of Extreme Unction (anointing of the sick). He spoke with Landon about The Book of Job and Joseph and his cloak. He asked Landon to offer his suffering for sinners and to save souls. He really spent time with Landon. He spoke about how sometimes suffering isn’t fair, but God can use it for good and God has a plan for Landon. I wish Father could know the happy, cheerful Landon but, Landon was pretty quiet. He listened though. The Latin version of these sacraments is just beautiful. He was so thoughtful and intentional. Thank God for these priests. 🙏🏼 Pray for them. Have mercy on us O’Lord. For the sake of your sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world. 🙏🏼

I know I have not updated in a while. Our boy is fighting so hard. The bone marrow transplant has been brutal. He got diagnosed with a liver complication called VOD and we are now on week 6 in the hospital. He is finally starting to come out of it I think. St. Carlo, Ora Pro Nobis. Our Lady of Lourdes, Ora pro Nobis. Lord, heal my boy and let this be the end to 8 years of suffering. Please let this be his cure 🙏🏼 AMEN. Please share and pray for my sweet boy.

My little fighter finished 6 rounds of full body radiation and 3 rounds of extra cranial radiation. The next 4 days we have high dose chemotherapy 🙏🏼. Please pray for us. Landon’s 12th Birthday is April 4th and Easter the day after and he will spend another birthday in the hospital andi pray this is his last spent in a hospital. Sacred heart of Jesus, have mercy on us 🙏🏼.

Update 2.23.26

Here this morning. Getting a lumbar puncture with chemotherapy and a G tube placed. Landon can’t eat for 24hours! He is going to be a grouch! He will be admitted overnight and he will get immunotherapy tomorrow then we can go home. 🙏🏼 Praying for Bo Leukemia in the spinal fluid and no compilations or infections.
Landon will have a bone marrow aspiration and biopsy next week. We pray this immunotherapy did its job and he is back to ZERO so we can head to transplant. 🙏🏼

Landon is feeling good and being his usual silly and sweet self. 🥰 Thanking God for all the blessings we have everyday.
*** Landon needs some kind of feeding tube for transplant. That’s why we are getting it now.

June 2024…. We had the honor and privilege to visit Lourdes, France 🇫🇷 As some of you may know, my son is still battling Leukemia. Although my son was not healed, we are so glad we got to go. Sometimes, when I am so stressed, I close my eyes and think of being there. I still can’t believe we were there. I put one of Landon’s hospital bracelets in the stone of the grotto asking Our Lady to watch over him and cover him in her mantle. Look at my beautiful children praying in such a holy place and my son Landon serving the Archbishop of Italy!!! What beautiful blessings that have been bestowed on my family. Today is the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes and Landon will be receiving a new immunotherapy. I am praying she watches over him and protects him from any life threatening side effects 🙏🏼. Our Lady always leads us to her son. She is OUR Mother in heaven. Our Lady of Lourdes, Ora Pro Nobis.

This is just a real picture. This is the day, in Philly when I kept telling myself I had nothing to worry about…. I kept talking my self off the ledge and going p*e 100 times because my nervous system is shot. The day we found out Landon didn’t keep his CART (fighter) cells. The day we knew we would have to keep fighting. By God’s grace alone we continue to carry this cross. We have so much to be thankful for, and we are. I am constantly thanking God. The list of blessings is longer than our sufferings which is a blessing in itself. I just want my little boy to be a boy 🩷 And be healed. We will be traveling to Philadelphia again because Landon will need a bone marrow transplant. 🙏🏼 Please, keep our family in your prayers. We need an affordable place to stay and for Landon to recover fully and be healed.

It’s been a rough year to say the least. Thank you for continuing to pray for us. Landon has a rough few months ahead. 🙏🏼 I am heartbroken he has to suffer, but, I also know God is with us and we are so thankful to be home for Christmas. Merry Christmas ❤️ Joy to the world 🎶 The LORD has come! 🥂 Time for 12 days of Christmas!!!
