👻 Spooky cold nights are creeping into Kentucky this week!

The Weather Channel has overnight lows in the upper 30s to around 40° all week across our area, starting at 37° tonight and dipping back to 37° Saturday night. That means furnaces, fireplaces, and water heaters are about to start working a lot harder. 🎃

Nothing's scarier than waking up to a cold house and an empty propane tank. Take 30 seconds this week, walk out to your tank, lift the lid, and check the gauge:

🔥 Under 30%? Give us a call and we'll get you on the delivery schedule before the cold-snap rush.
🔥 Running close to empty? Call today. An empty tank has to be leak-checked before it can be relit.
🔥 Rather not think about it again? Ask about Keep-Full automatic delivery.

Looking for your next barbecue favourite? Start with a Napoleon® grill from Clark Propane Plus and try this crowd-pleasing recipe.

Ingredients

2 to 4 pork butt steaks
Kosher salt to taste
Very finely ground black pepper to taste
Your favourite BBQ maple glaze

Equipment

Your favourite wood chips for smoking
Napoleon Stainless Steel Smoker Box or Pipe

Method

1. Season pork butt steaks generously with kosher salt on all sides. Grind pepper through a mesh sieve to dust only the finest particles over the pork for clean pepper flavour without burning. Place steaks on a rack over a tray and rest for at least 40 minutes. If resting longer, refrigerate to dry brine.
2. When ready to grill, remove a set of cooking grids and the sear plate over one burner. Install the Napoleon Stainless Steel Smoker Box and fill with wood chips.
3. Ignite two burners on your Napoleon grill (not the one under the smoker box) and set to medium-low. Preheat the grill to 325°F for indirect cooking.
4. Place pork over unlit burners. Turn off the preheated burners and ignite the burner under the smoker box. Smoke for 30-40 minutes, brushing lightly with the maple glaze, until the internal temp reaches 145–150°F.
5. Remove pork and heat two side-by-side burners to high. Preheat the grill to 500°F+ or use the Infrared SIZZLE ZONE Side Burner.
6. Sear pork over direct heat, brushing lightly with more maple glaze on the final flip.
7. Serve with seasonal vegetables and your favourite starch.

Delicious results start with great ingredients and a great grill. Try this easy recipe on your Napoleon® grill from Clark Propane Plusand taste the difference.

🔥 Always wanted a fireplace but don't have a chimney? A direct vent gas fireplace is the answer.

Here's how it works: a direct vent fireplace is completely sealed behind glass. It pulls the air it needs from outside and sends the exhaust right back out through a vent in an exterior wall. That means:

✅ No chimney needed. It can go in almost any room with an outside wall.
✅ Your room air stays in your room, so you're not losing warm air up a flue.
✅ Efficient heat. Real flames with the flip of a switch or a remote.
✅ No wood to haul, no ashes to clean.

Pictured are five of the direct vent models burning right now in our Nicholasville showroom: the Napoleon Elevation X 42, Napoleon Ascent X 36, Napoleon Altitude X 42, Kozy Heat Nordik 48, and the Empire Rushmore 50. Pictures don't do them justice. Come see them in person!

And because we're Clark Propane Plus, our certified techs install it, and we deliver the propane to fuel it. One local company, start to finish.

🥶 Feel that? The cold is officially here in Kentucky. Before you crank up the heat, take 30 seconds and walk out to your propane tank. Lift the lid and check the gauge. Here's what that number means:

🔵 80%: Full! Tanks are only filled to 80% to leave room for the propane to expand. 🟢 30–80%: You're in good shape. Keep an eye on it as the nights get colder. 🟠 Under 30%: Time to give us a call and get on the schedule before the cold-snap rush. 🔴 Under 20%: Call today. Running empty means a leak check before your system can be relit, and nobody wants a cold house while they wait.

Rather not think about the gauge at all? Ask about Keep-Full automatic delivery. We keep an eye on your tank so you don't have to.

🎨 TANK PAINTING SAFETY TIPS Your tank still has to pass inspection before we can fill it, so keep these in mind:

-Keep paint off the valve, the relief valve, the threads, and the collar (the handle ring on top).
-Don't paint over the date stamp or the labels on the collar. If we can't read the date, we can't fill the tank.
-Go light. Lighter colors reflect the sun and keep tank pressure down. Skip all-black designs.
-Paint outdoors, away from grills, fire pits, and any open flame.
-Let the paint dry completely before you bring it in. Never use a heat gun or torch to speed it up.
-Don't hide damage. Tanks with heavy rust, dents, or an expired date can't be filled.

Tip: Post a photo of your painted tank in the comments! 👇
