Virginia artist Leanne Fink works in her studio. Leanne is one of three featured artists at Gay Street Gallery for this year's Fall Art Tour, and creates representational art that is joyful, uplifting and imbued with unerring luminosity. She weaves the threads of beauty and healing into paintings that connect us with the natural world.

The artist states, "I will not be a name that rolls off the tongues of historians. I am a cog in the wheel of creative individuals worldwide. Others may dance with injustice, parry with war or poverty but I choose a positive viewpoint. And that is to elevate the regal beauty of the land, sea and sky."

MEET THE ARTIST - 'WILD' Exhibit closes this weekend.

Join me on Saturday, February 22nd, 12pm to 1:30pm at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley. I will be greeting visitors and, of course, talking art.

It has been an honor to display my National Treasures Collection of oil and cold wax paintings at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley. The Art in the Halls Program reserves space within the museum especially for regional artists.

Those interested in purchasing a painting this weekend may take it home the same day. Six of the ten works are available for purchase. In addition, there are three framed giclee posters available of works that have already sold.

I hope to see you tomorrow.
