So I didn't want to put too much back story out because I hadn't told my friend that I was trying to help raise money for their family. Now that I've told them what I'm doing I'd like to share why we are doing this.
My friend/coworker and his wife had a baby prematurely about 1-2 months ago. After being in the NICU for two weeks the hospital sent the baby home. The baby started showing signs of what seemed like allergies so they took him in to see his pediatrician. They said it was normal and sent him home. The baby progressively started getting worse and three different hospitals sent him home with no answers. He was coughing so much and so badly that he would stop breathing and turn blue. Fast forward to now he is at children's with pneumonia along with other things. This baby has been through a lot in his short time here and him and his family need all the prayers they can get. With that being said, the dad is the sole provider in the home and is having to juggle kids at home, a baby in the hospital and a full time job. That's a lot to take on. I have started taking orders for cookies where 100% of the money for the orders goes to this family to help out. If anyone would like to place an order or even just donate, please contact me. Sorry I've been MIA for the last few weeks. But it's been for good reasons. I'm in a really great relationship, I started a really great job and I've been reconnecting with my kids. I'm in a really great place and I'm so happy. But I haven't forgot about all of my amazing supporters! With the new year I've had to go up on my prices. Inflation is a killer of all good things!
