Day 4 of the 30 Days of Noticing Challenge: Dancing Light.

Noticing how the sunlight dances through our home throughout the day is one of my favorite pastimes.

30 DAYS OF NOTICING 🌿

For the next 30 days, I’m challenging myself to photograph one ordinary moment each day—nothing elaborate or perfectly styled. Just one photograph and a moment of attention.

At the end, I’ll compile all 30 images into a Reel—a visual diary of one beautifully ordinary month.

Today is Day One: Desk Scene.

It was after midnight, and I went to grab my little journal and hand cream to bring to bed. I loved the way the scene looked just as it was—the objects naturally resting on my desk—so I thought I’d snap a picture.

I saw another account share their favorite Canva fonts and thought, ohhh I have to do this too! šŸ˜‚ As a photographer, I’m always playing around with fonts and have definitely collected a few favorites I wish I’d found sooner. So here they are šŸ¤

I keep seeing posts and articles about people making a small fortune posting pictures of their feet, so naturally… here’s my very own barefoot-in-the-garden photoshoot. šŸ˜‚šŸŒæšŸ¦¶

Will this be my next great business venture? Probably not. But at least my feet got their moment. šŸ˜‚

Scenes from a lovely Mother’s Day 🌿

I’m so disappointed because I was so busy visiting and spending time with my own mom that I completely forgot to take photos of us together today.

The morning started with me admiring my Mother’s Day gift — new curtains — followed by a tiny photoshoot of them with my sunny bird šŸˆā˜€ļø

Then at sunset, after realizing I forgot to take photos with my own mom, I insisted we take some family photos with my son, husband, and mother in law instead. A beautiful, full day spent with the people I love most. šŸ¤

There was a quiet intention behind this collection from the very beginning.

I wanted to create pieces that felt like home
not just in how they look, but in how they live with you.

Something grounded and comforting.
Formed by hand, shaped from the earth,
with a softness that brings a sense of calm and beauty into your space.

Inspired by flowers in all their forms
freshly gathered, loosely arranged, or slowly dried over time
each piece is designed to hold and honor that beauty
in a way that feels natural, effortless, and lived in.

Pieces that don’t ask for attention,
but instead become part of the rhythm of your days
resting gently on a bedside table, catching the afternoon light,
holding both flowers and the small, meaningful moments
that make a house feel like home.

A return to simplicity.
A return to beauty.
A return to being.

You can experience the collection in person at the Cottage Sale, right here in Winston Salem, NC.
April 25 from 10–1 pm. Give her a follow for more details and location.

And if you feel drawn to these pieces, I’d love to welcome you into my collectors club
where you’ll have a special opportunity to pre order the next release at the end of May. Link in bio to sign up.
