For the next 30 days, Iā€™m challenging myself to photograph one ordinary moment each dayā€”nothing elaborate or perfectly styled. Just one photograph and a moment of attention.

At the end, Iā€™ll compile all 30 images into a Reelā€”a visual diary of one beautifully ordinary month.

Today is Day One: Desk Scene.

It was after midnight, and I went to grab my little journal and hand cream to bring to bed. I loved the way the scene looked just as it wasā€”the objects naturally resting on my deskā€”so I thought Iā€™d snap a picture.

Scenes from a lovely Motherā€™s Day šŸŒæ

Iā€™m so disappointed because I was so busy visiting and spending time with my own mom that I completely forgot to take photos of us together today.

The morning started with me admiring my Motherā€™s Day gift ā€” new curtains ā€” followed by a tiny photoshoot of them with my sunny bird šŸˆā˜€ļø

Then at sunset, after realizing I forgot to take photos with my own mom, I insisted we take some family photos with my son, husband, and mother in law instead. A beautiful, full day spent with the people I love most. šŸ¤
