One thing I love telling people is that Chad’s quotes are always itemized — you see every single thing and can pick what you want to handle yourself to save money.

Demo, taking care of the dump/demo garbage in your own garbage can vs having us take it to the dump, picking up materials… whatever you feel like doing, Chad works with you.

He just wants your floors done right the first time so you’re not paying twice.

Here's a job where the client took care of doing the demo themselves and threw it away before we started the project. Then, Chad came in and made sure the floor was level, prepped the v***r barrier under the LVP on concrete, and installed the flooring!

This one's for anyone getting ready to list their home this spring 🌱

The #1 flooring issue we see before open houses: carpet wrinkles in hallways and living rooms.

We are COUNTING DOWN the days until we can go adventuring again!

This is a throw back to when we visited out Florida friends and we thought we would bring our bikes down to go "off-roading alittle" through their ATV trails.

Well, what we learned was that the WHOLE state of Florida is covered in SAND about a foot down MINIMUM and that our bikes are WAYYYY too heavy for driving through that deep sand with all the twists and turns.

We made it 10 feet into the entrance of the off road park and totally dumped the bikes or got stuck standing straight up, no kick stand needed. The rest of the day was spent driving down the gravel roads and just admiring the unique trees & foliage.

This year, we are looking forward to more adventures locally and maybe a trip out to the South Dakota landscape! Who knows, a surprise might pop up and we will be on an adventure we weren't counting on!! (Totally ok with that, BTW haha 😆)

Remember to make time for the activities and people you love, because it is WORTH IT to get it on the calendar!

Pet owners, this one's for you 🐾

Dogs and cats can do a number on carpet — we see it all the time and it's nothing to be embarrassed about. (I just wish it didn't happen to you in the first place! I'm sorry! 🥹)

Chad uses a radio-wave seaming patching tool to cut out the damaged section and replace it with a perfectly matched piece. (Usually from a donor location, like the closet carpet!)

The seam is invisible when done right. No need to replace the entire room. Just the spot that needs help.

If you've been putting it off because you think it means new carpet everywhere… it probably doesn't.

Quick gratitude post 🙏We (I, Katie 😅🥰) started Chad the Flooring Guy because I wanted to bring Chad closer to home for work.

I put a little note on the local pages and Nextdoor, and the response was unbelievable.

Fast forward to today, and Chad is a neighborhood favorite in 56 neighborhoods. His phone rings because you all keep recommending him to each other. That means more to us than any advertisement ever could.

Happy St. Patty's Day!

"A good friend is like a four-leaf clover, hard to find and lucky to have."

Thank you all for being friends while we help to renovate your home, fix your floors, or trouble shoot a repair. It is actually quite amazing how much fun we can have together, blasting the random music we pick throughout the day, while sharing in some espressos (if we bring the machine!).
