Like we need any more animals or birds, but ticks are so bad this year that we figured we would get some guineas to help control the population.

Caught little man rolling in the dirt! He’s always so dirty when I go out there and I know he’s a donkey and he’s in a field. He’s gonna get dirty, but I just figured he was laying down. I didn’t think he was starting to already roll around in the sand like his mom and dad.

He is definitely getting very playful lately with me and really starting to treat me like his mom. Did I say that donkey babies are the best? While they are and this one is so sweet!

I definitely can’t wait each day to go up and visit him about three times a day just to take a breather and watch him be the cutest little man!

I know it’s so much easier go to the store and grab a processed sweet treat that has 30 to 40 ingredients. But honestly, it only takes a little time to make something homemade and a lot better for you than a processed.

So I guessed it right my husband asked me why I was dressing like an 80-year-old woman 😂😂

He said the bloomer should stay at home. He was not a fan of this outfit and normally he likes the way I dress all the time but he said the bloomers are just a no.

For the rest of the evening, he kept shaking his head and said this was one of the worst things I have ever wore because it looks like I’m wearing my bed clothes outside 😂😂

Oh well, you can’t win them all!

In the 10 years that we had this coop, we’ve only had one other animal getting in here and still eggs and that was a skunk about six months ago because our chicken coop isn’t bad need of repair and we have the ducks over here right now till we make them a permanent home.

My husband has been traveling a lot so he just has not had time to fix the sagging part at the top of the coop on the outside, he built this by hand and it’s been a fortress for a long time or nothing has gotten in here.

Look like it’s time to get the coop fixed so we quit losing eggs.

So far, I’ve had 25 ducks make it and I have seven that did not. I also had so far about 20 eggs that did not hatch that did have ducks in them, but they just did not do anything.

I think it has to be with her incubator and the temp for some reason it’s off this time. We’re definitely gonna have to check it for the next round of ducks.
