Getting ready to spread the LOVE with these Jim Dine inspired works of art. First grade friends learned about symmetry, warm and cool colors, as well as how highlights and shading can help make a picture appear 3D. I love how they look all together!

I admit that my fun teaching K-3 art has come with many illnesses.. while feeling under the weather, I have not been creating my own artwork. Today, I returned to the studio!!! What a gift it is, to play, explore color, and create. Good for the soul!
